Which way to the Caribbean?

Corporate signage specialist Sign 2000 has brought a taste of the Caribbean to the streets of Leicester by producing the neon signs and graphics of the city’s new Turtle Bay restaurant.

Sign 2000 created signage for the latest authentic Caribbean restaurant chain, Turtle Bay in Leicester, bringing a characteristically friendly and informal atmosphere to the establishment

The Kent-based sign-maker used GE Tetra LED illumination technology for the internal neon signage and the main external neon signage was covered with a protective fabricated polycarbonate case. The main signage was made using powder-coated aluminium sheet inlaid with acrylic text and logos, resulting in a bright and eye-catching display.

The Caribbean island theme chain is as much about atmosphere as the authentic food, and the eclectic mix of modern and traditional signage methods help to create the restaurant’s distinctive atmosphere.

For those of us who won’t be jetting off to the Caribbean for our holidays this year, a visit to Turtle Bay may be an excellent alternative, with dishes ranging from the exotic—Blue Mountain curried goat, anyone?—to the enigmatic—whatever the Rastafari Run Down is, it sounds good.
