Opened in June this year, the new terminal features over 700 individual way finding signs, with the LED backlighting specified and optimised by the Surrey-headquartered company. All signage has been designed to be ‘no maintenance’ in comparison to fluorescent tube lighting, allowing the round-the-clock terminal to avoid any unnecessary maintenance delays.
Bright Green has also delivered an overall operating cost saving of 79 percent, a figure achieved through fast installation time and the reduced power consumption LEDs require throughout their lifetime.
“We have already worked with some of the biggest international airports in the world, including London Heathrow in the UK, and we are now well-versed in the unique requirements of these valuable, 24-hour environments,” enthuses Bright Green chief executive officer, Andy Clark.
Our new Light Panel will give our customers even better illumination with no extra energy usage and at no extra cost”
Meanwhile, Bright Green has also unveiled a new LED Light Panel that features an increased lumen output, claiming to make the panel up to 41 percent brighter than its predecessor, without additional energy consumption.
“Our new Light Panel will give our customers even better illumination with no extra energy usage and at no extra cost,” confirms head of product, Terry Cattle.
The new technology has already been utilised at sites around the world, with the New York Subway network, Dublin’s LUAS tram system, Harrods, and Goodwood Racecourse all using the LED Light Panel for various projects and applications.
