PPS complete the Italian job

Large-format printing expert Palmer Publicity Services (PPS) has completed a project for an Italian olive farm—a venture born out of a chance meeting in a coffee bar.

PPS supplied the renovated Italian olive farm with a range of interior and exterior solutions

PPS managing director, Noel Palmer, had been discussing wall art for the property with the farm’s owner, who was searching for something modern that could reflect traditional Italian images and style, to fit in with the restored farm. Palmer suggested a printed acrylic approach, which with polished chrome, stand offs on rugged interior walls and the right images, would provide an effective combination to match his needs.

Upon returning to the UK, PPS sourced numerous images for twelve large acrylic displays, which were produced using Acryliart—a PPS material of directly printed images onto 10mm clear acrylic.

The firm says the new textured surfaces provide a ‘modern, dynamic look’ to all images that are printed on them, where the natural white is replaced with the metal colour

As well as producing matching acrylic exterior signage, PPS also created a special history display to reflect the restoration of the farm. All panels were shipped to Puglia, with Palmer going along to supervise the installation.

Elsewhere, PPS has added to the 'Acryliart' display panels offering by introducing a new range of sparkly-based acrylics and printed metallic box graphics—aimed primarily at the hospitality and commercial sectors.

The firm says the new textured surfaces provide a ‘modern, dynamic look’ to all images that are printed on them, where the natural white is replaced with the metal colour.

Additionally, PPS says it can work with customers to use their own designs for displays, as well as having a library of images on its website—a selection that can be used or modified to suit individual projects.
