Wide-format print manufacturer, Agfa, is aiming to make what it describes as “a powerful impact” at this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo, by unveiling two new inkjet printing systems.

Agfa will use the print-focused exhibition, which launches next week in Berlin, to reveal its new Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS and Onset Panthera FB3216 to public for the first time.

The Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS has been developed to provide consistent quality on both rigid and flexible materials, reportedly offering low ink consumption alongside a range of advanced automation options.

The H3300 XUHS features automated motorised media feed guides and print speeds up to 1.280m2/h, thereby making it the fastest hybrid press in Agfa’s lineup.

The new Onset Panthera FB3216 has been dubbed by Agfa as “the only true flatbed high-productivity inkjet printer on the market”. Its offers advanced LED curing capability designed for rapid, high-quality prints with strong gloss levels and minimal energy usage.

Another addition to the exhibition will be a limited edition Anapurna Ciervo, featuring a design Belgian street artist, DZIA. Made to celebrate the range’s 20th anniversary, only ten of the special models will be available worldwide. Those interested in securing one of the ten printers have been encouraged to contact their Agfa sales representative.

Agfa recently expanded its Anapurna Ciervo inkjet range, releasing the H2500 and H2050 models which reportedly increase productivity levels by nearly 70% compared to their predecessors.

Visitors to FESPA will be able to see the H2500 machine in action first-hand. The 2.5m H2500 and 2.05m H2050 are designed to offer the same versatility and performance as the 3.2m H3200 model released last year, in a more compact format.

Both models can print on a variety of rigid and flexible substrates, featuring UV LED curing and six-colour plus white inks.

The Ciervo H2500 got its trade show debut at ISA International Sign Expo in Las Vegas, which ran from April 23rd to 25th.

At FESPA, Agfa will also demonstrate the latest version of its Asanti workflow software, designed to streamline the print process and make it more cost-efficient. Asanti 7 offers smart nesting and layout tools that help minimise media waste, and its sustainability tracking feature offers carbon footprint calculation by integrating with Dataline’s MultiPress MIS.

Arnaud Calleja, vice-president of Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa, says: “These machines are engineered to deliver unmatched performance, versatility, and automation for print service providers (PSPs) ready to conquer new challenges and thrive in any environment.

“We invite visitors to our stand to experience first-hand how Agfa’s innovations can empower print businesses and unleash their full potential.”

Visitors to this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo can visit Agfa at Stands D60 and D70 of Hall 27, to see the new machines first-hand, discover other solutions from the company’s inkjet portfolio, and join the 20-year anniversary celebrations for the Anapurna Ciervo range.
