Nick died late last year, though the news of his passing was only recently passed on to SignLink by one of Nick’s former clients, Bison.

Knowledgeable of all things print and a fantastic ambassador for the UK industry, Nick was a motivational speaker and business coach that worked with hundreds of print companies across the UK.

Nick specialised in helping business transform fortunes, offering them expert guidance on how they could change the way they operated to become more successful.

A regular at industry events, Nick was the keynote speaker at The Print Show 2018, where visitors packed in to hear his words of wisdom about business growth and how they could succeed in the modern market.

Nick was also a regular contributor to Print Monthly and SignLink over the years, writing a series of useful and informative articles to support readers.

Of my own memories of Nick, my first meeting with him will always stand out. We met at an Antalis event at Wembley Stadium in 2012, where he was leading one of his sessions.

I had arranged to meet him to talk about a new series of articles for the magazines, and within just a few minutes of speaking, it was easy to see why so many printers valued Nick so highly.

While editor of Print Monthly and deputy editor of SignLink, I worked with Nick on a regular basis and very much enjoyed getting an insight into his world and way of thinking.

Away from work life, Nick was a private man and mostly kept himself to himself. He was married to wife Kay, had two sons in Arden and Robert, as well as a daughter, Tara.

Everyone at Link Publishing would like to pass on their condolences to Nick’s family and close friends.
