The team at Firstlite ready for its open day

Firstlite LED Systems, a supplier of LED modules to the UK signage industry, has launched its customer training programme with an open day held yesterday (April 17th) in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.

The training programme has been created to take place in Firstlite’s dedicated training centre where industry professionals can gain specialised skills when selecting, fitting, and maintaining Firstlite LED products.

Customers who undertake the training programme will receive industry-recognised certification as well as the confidence and practical skills needed with LED products.

Megan Woodcock, managing director of Firstlite LED, says: "The challenges facing our industry are constantly changing and evolving, with new technology and innovations becoming ever-more frequent.

Woodcock adds: “We have designed our training programmes to help customers learn much more than just the basics; we get them hands-on so they can understand every detail of installing and maintaining all types of LED modules. We are here to ensure our partners and customers stay on top with the latest techniques and tech know-how."

The training days have been developed to ensure customers understand the latest advancements in LED technology while also minimising the chance of installation errors and increasing the likelihood of a longer lifespan for the products.

A previous participant of the programme said: "The hands-on training offered by Firstlite was invaluable. It not only enhanced my technical skills but also gave me the confidence to tackle complex LED sign installations. I now feel more equipped to deliver high-quality results for our clients."
