Mutoh XpertJet 1641SR Pro lands BLI award
Mutoh Europe has announced that its Mutoh XpertJet 1641SR Pro has won a Buyers Lab (BLI) 2023 Pick Award for Outstanding Entry-Level CMYK Eco-Solvent/Latex 54”/64” Printer from Keypoint Intelligence.

The machine was praised for its print speed and colour gamut
The XpertJet 1641SR Pro was praised in particular for its fast speeds, with Mutoh saying the machine offers the quickest print speed for an entry-level CMYK, while judges also hailed the device’s large colour gamut.
The machine also scored an ‘excellent’ rating for skin halftone reproduction and was also commended for its automated procedures for media setup, alignment and media length tracking reduces user setup times.
“The Mutoh XpertJet 1641SR Pro is a great choice in the entry-level, eco-solvent/latex CMYK space,” Keypoint Intelligence’s director of EMEA/Asia research and lab services, David Sweetnam, says.
“A class-leading colour gamut size, impressive halftone image reproduction, and accurate spot colour matching are just part of the story. Add in fast print times and a wealth of user efficiency improvements, and it’s clear that this device is a perfect fit for sign-makers and print service providers.”
