Northern Flags, based in Leeds, has created a new range to support the NHS and its keyworkers during this time

During the coronavirus pandemic, Northern Flags has been donating money to the NHS Charities COVID-19 Urgent Appeal, by giving £5 for every flag, banner and sticker sold from a new range. The #ThankYouNHS range allows for businesses and individuals to help give back to the NHS staff and keyworkers for all that they have done during the pandemic.

In what must be unbelievably trying times, they have faced the crisis with determination and, more often than not, a smile

It has been designed in the NHS blue with the message displayed in its recognisable font, meaning that businesses can not only physically show their support with a flag, banner or sticker but money from the sale will also help fund the NHS’s fight against coronavirus.

The NHS Charities Together has a target of £100m and has raised over a quarter of this target in a short amount of time. The donations will go towards wellbeing packs, travel and accommodation costs and long-term mental health support for volunteers and medical workers after the pandemic has subsided.

The #ThankYouNHS range includes flags, banners and stickers ad £5 from each sale will be donated to the fund

Iain Clasper-Cotte, managing director of Northern Flags, comments: “These are unprecedented and scary times for us a country, but one thing that has stood out has been the unwavering and tireless efforts of our NHS medical workers and volunteers. In what must be unbelievably trying times, they have faced the crisis with determination and, more often than not, a smile.

“At Northern Flags, we have watched events unfold and, as a company, decided we wanted to do our part. That’s why we designed this range to allow people and businesses to show their support for our incredible NHS, and more importantly, to raise money that will go towards helping them. The £5 we will be donating from each product sold will be a small gesture but hopefully a vital one in the long battle against this deadly disease.”
