Another HP Latex printer for PressOn

Long-standing customer of HP, PressOn, has installed a new HP LX 3600 latex printer. The re-engineered new generation of the HP LX 3500 complements PressOn’s existing HP LX 3500 and helps the large-format digital printing company to keep up with increased customer demand for large-format print.

PressOn’s joint managing director, Andy Wilson says: “We’ve secured some very sizeable contracts recently on massive infrastructure projects across Britain and the addition of the new machine is enabling us to meet even tighter deadlines without compromising on our production quality.”

The printer will enable PressOn to print at speeds of 120m2/hr and supress banding with HP Dynamic Swath Alignment technology. The new machine will also save the company time and money. With automatic maintenance, no daily printhead maintenance is required.

Labour costs will be minimised with a single operator able to manage up to four printers at the same time. Further costs will be reduced with the feature of heavy duty rolls for fewer roll changes, and ten litre HP ink supplies for overnight runs.

Reflecting on PressOn’s loyalty to HP, Wilson adds: “We have a number of HP machines – we bought the world’s first HP LX 3000 back in 2013 and followed that with the HP LX 3500 in 2015. As PressOn continues to grow we’ve found ourselves yet again at capacity.

“The new features on the HP LX 3600 are enabling us to print faster at an improved quality and maximise our profits with overnight unattended printing. Larger print rolls (300kg), ten litre ink cartridges, reduced maintenance and mobile production control is already leading to improved margins, a smoother work flow and a noticeable increase in customer satisfaction for us.”
