Antalis aids large-format diversification

Printing equipment and hardware can be expensive for businesses to invest in. However, new technology is vital for growth and expansion within a firm. This means that it is important that buyers know what they are investing in and the skillset they need to get the most out of the machine, with the help from the supplier or partner.

Antalis, Revolution Digital, Granthams, and Agfa Graphics have taken this on board and have teamed up to provide equipment, assistance, and advice on everything large-format.

Customers can now shop for equipment from the leading brands, including printers from Agfa, HP, Mimaki, Roland, and Canon. Prices begin at £4,000 and can go up to £450,000.

Hardware and technical specialist at Antalis visual communications, Paul Duffy, says: “It has never been a better time for printers to diversify in the large format arena with a raft of highly lucrative applications such as large-scale signs and displays, wallcoverings and car wraps becoming increasingly popular.

“However, hardware is a serious investment—some of this large format hardware can cost up to half a million pounds—so printers need to rely on the advice and expertise of a partner they can trust.

It has never been a better time for printers to diversify in the large format arena with a raft of highly lucrative applications such as large-scale signs and displays, wallcoverings and car wraps becoming increasingly popular

“That’s why we’ve developed strong relationships with Revolution Digital, Granthams and Agfa, each business an expert in their field. Antalis is now able to offer customers the assurance of receiving expert, impartial advice and support.”

Duffy will also be available to offer support to customers who have specific requirements and need advice. For those who would like some further information, and to learn new skills, as well as learn more about new applications to diversify their skillset, help will be on hand.

Duffy comments: “For us, it’s about providing a helping hand each step of the way—we don’t just want to help customers when it comes to choosing the right product, we want to ensure they are able to unlock potential, diversify and grow. In this way, our Digital Academy is an invaluable resource for customers, enabling them to try new equipment, methods and materials as well as develop skills and best practice for their operations.

“We know that diversifying into the large format opportunity can be daunting for traditional printers but working with Antalis and our expert partners, we can help customers navigate the options available to them, support their decision-making progress and ultimately help to grow their business.
