Signfab UK pledges to lead by example
In an industry that is still often dogged by accusations of poor safe working practices, exemplified by a spate of recent high-profile cases of deaths caused by negligence, one key supplier has pledged to ‘lead by example’.

Signfab UK has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus Safe Contractor in recognition of its commitment to health and safety in the workplace.

“The sign industry has been on the periphery of other sectors that have adopted these regulations many years ago, and we as one of the top trade sign manufacturers in the UK, need to be seen to be leading by example,” Signfab managing director Carl Hodgson comments.
He continues: “That is why we took steps to be the very first to qualify for the CE welding certification for all of our onsite welders, and now we have raised the bar even higher by becoming a registered Safe Contractor. This will give our customers and in turn their own end-users the real peace of mind that work carried out by us is the highest quality in the industry and safe to be installed.”
