“What can I say about this other than it being an unplanned spur of the moment idea to turn wrapping of a toy van into a mini movie,” explains Elite’s managing director Simon James, who adds: “My colleague had the idea of wrapping a toy van as a quirky way of showing our creativity and vehicle wrapping, so we came up with the crumpled paper design and a photograph of my colleague bursting through the wrap. But then another team member suggested that we photograph some toy figures next to it to show the scale of the van, and then it developed into doing a ‘quick’ stop motion video.

“We’ve had fellow sign companies and wrappers comment and share from all over the world including New Zealand, Taiwan, Mexico, Denmark, Italy, Monte Carlo, Venezuela, Poland and of course the UK. We’ve also put the video on YouTube and Instagram and that’s being well received on there too.”
