Signs and Screens has received an armada of new technology following a sizeable investment from business entrepreneur Anthony Kleanthous

Based in Tring, Signs and Screens are quickly establishing themselves as a major trade sign supplier, describing themselves as providing ‘bespoke visual solutions'. The company also says they offer more than just signage due to their 'wealth of experience in architectural metal work, specialist LED illuminations, and digital displays'.

Hundreds of thousands of pounds have been invested into the company with new kit and a streamlined production system.

With the continued commitment and support of our staff, customers and suppliers we have successfully stabilised our business and we now have a strong foundation to build on

The firm works out of a 32,000sq/ft warehouse on the Icknield Way Industrial Estate, which now houses an Amada HFE 3i 4m Brake Press and a Amada FO MII 3m laser cutter.

Other kit that is powering the new firm includes an Axis Amada Brake Press, for creating and adjusting bend angles, and a Digipro that improves the accuracy of the bend by wirelessly sending the data back to the console, and self-adjusting for consistency in the bend angle.

As well as being able to form pieces up to 4m, multiple folding set ups can be achieved along the whole bed length, eliminating the need to pick up and put down the work being fabricated.

The Amada FO3015 MKII Laser is also equipped with the latest oscillator for high performance cutting capabilities, as it can handle mild steel up to 22m thick, in addition to 12mm stainless steel, and 10mm aluminium. With a point to point speed of 114m/min, the FO3015 MKII also offers very high speed production, says the firm, putting it in a strong competitive position.
