The Business Seminar Theatre was packed throughout the The Print Show 2015 and has an all-star cast lined-up again for its 2016 edition

Nick Devine as the Print Coach will be explaining how to hire the best sales staff who will more than hit their targets but stay loyal as well. He will also have tips on how printing firms can increase profits by attracting larger clients, upsell to existing customers and win new business without suicidal discounting.

Meanwhile, the seminar will include John Heffernan of Hillcroft Digital, whose daily afternoon talk will explain how you can utilise social media and the internet to increase business and raise profiles. He says his educative consultancy approach has created a return on investment campaigns across numerous digital marketing channels, with a high conversion rate and an integrated digital approach. His technique starts with questions: where is your business now and where do you want to be in the future?

5 seminar sessions will take place each day

If you are seeking inspiration about the future of print and the paper industry, then a talk by Jonathan Tame of Two Sides and Print Power should put ink in your heart. His call to arms for the industry to support his organisation’s campaigns aims to fight the negative perceptions about sustainability. Print is far more consumer friendly than digital he says and paper is completely recyclable with Two Sides promoting their ‘anti-greenwash’ campaign, that tackles misleading statements made by large organisations wanting customers to move on-line by making inaccurate statements of the environmental benefits. The "No Wonder You love Paper" consumer campaign, is supported by major newspapers and magazines where regular page adverts promote the sustainable properties of paper. You can catch Jonathan’s talk on Wednesday at 3.30pm.

The Independent Printing Industry Association (IPIA) will be represented by its chief executive Marian Stefani, who will be talking about how the industry has continued to change. IPIA members receive help in how to maximise their use of technological and to adopt modern business practices.

Dave Jones of Premier Paper will also be speaking in what promises to be a must-visit sector of the Print Show. He will be explaining how his firm’s cost and control system gives management accurate information on print and paper procurement expenditure. Data can be viewed on-line through a secure web link that gives detailed management information updated on a daily basis.
