Road signage firm comes to an end

However SignLink understands that although most of the staff lost their jobs the firm managed to sell some equipment to another company before the crash and that a small number of workers have been retained although this has not been officially confirmed.

Hope has also been involved with the trade association the Association for Road Traffic Safety and Management (ARTSM) serving on the executive committee and as chairman

The firm has long credentials in traffic road signage with the managing director Mike Hope having founded the firm in 1986 at the height of the road building boom of the Thatcher years and has continued to play a leading role in its development throughout the subsequent changes of ownership. Hope has also been involved with the trade association the Association for Road Traffic Safety and Management (ARTSM) serving on the executive committee and as chairman.

The firm is being voluntarily wound up with joint liquidators Weller and Steven Martin Stokes, joint liquidators in charge of processing the company’s final details.
