LED lights the way for outdoor signage
A sign company claims to have saved its clients the equivalent of £12.3 million in energy costs by switching their outdoor media from conventional fluorescent tube lighting to LED backlighting.

Bright lights: the company say their products have saved clients money
Byfleet based Bright Green Technology say that by making the switch their clients have saved around nine and a half million pounds reducing the overall cost in electricity to £2.8 million over the last seven years to all customers.
The firm’s signage is used around the world in 28 countries and features backlit banner signs in airport check-in desks, Baku columns, retail and architectural signage”
They also say that as a result they have reduced the amount of carbon generated by 42,473 tonnes which is the equivalent of taking 8,473 cars off the nation’s roads.
