The publisher of SignLink and Print Monthly magazines will martial a full team to head out to the show, who will post a series of in-depth reports on www.signlink.co.uk and www.printmonthly.com.

A special Sign7 News and Print7 News video bulletin will be recorded from the show featuring interviews with key figures and showcasing the latest technology in action from across the signage and wide-format print industries—these will be hosted on global video hubs for the visual communications industry www.sign7tv.com and www.print7tv.com.

“FESPA has come a very long way since its screen print roots, and is now rapidly becoming a dominant force on the continent and indeed across the world when it comes to wide-format print,” explains Link Publishing managing editor Brendan Perring.

He adds: “The launch of the European Sign Expo (ESE) in 2013 in conjunction with FESPA’s outing in London and its absorption of digital signage show Screenmedia Expo has also caused some large waves in the market. It has now turned its sites on the core signage market in addition to wide-format print, and this crossover has significantly extended its reach and influence.

“I am expecting there to be some very interesting developments to report on from Munich, not the least of which is the major battle brewing as Epson has made some significant statements in regards to becoming ‘number one’ in every market segment it enters. HP is also one to watch with its new latex range which sold more than 90 units at Sign and Digital UK 2014. And last but not least players such as Mimaki and Roland DG have also martialled some very interesting new technology in the flatbed market that seems set to generate headlines.”
