Sign 2000 clinches Business of the Year honour

Corporate and retail sign specialist Sign 2000 has won ‘Business of the Year’ award for the South, after beating off competition from hundreds of other companies in the Kent and Sussex regions

Created by business coaching franchise ActionCoach, the annual initiative pays tribute to the best businesses throughout the world via the franchise’s strategically located action business coaches. 

ActionCoach acts as a sales and marketing support facility for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMEs), engaging with companies to help them grow their optimum performance levels through guidance and support on key management strategies.

The sign firm first joined forces with ActionCoach two years ago following a move to Tonbridge—part of a wider strategy to enable future growth and development.

ActionCoach’s Cameron helped implement a number of new key strategies, which have in turn allowed the firm to create 14 new jobs in Kent. 

Managing director, Murray Crompton, enthuses: “Employing an action business coach has kept us focused on key issues and has definitely helped push our business forward. 

“It is surprising how far we have come in a relatively short time and we have ambitious plans for the future.”

Cameron also paid tribute to Sign 2000’s performance, adding: “The Sign 2000 directors have been extremely open-minded about implementing new ideas and strategies and winning the award is a testament to that.”
