Vivid wins FESPA social media battle

Nowadays, social media is a key battleground for suppliers at exhibitions, but it wasn't one of the corporate manufacturers who took home the social media accolade at FESPA 2013

Vivid says the ExCel was a great venue for a print exhibition

Vivid Laminating was awarded the title of 'Social Media Champion' by FESPA organisers at the recent event at the London ExCel.

Marketing manager, David Smith also says the firm had a huge number of quality leads, and is now looking forward to IPEX 2014 after praising ExCel as a “fantastic location.”

“There was a lot of people tweeting, so it was very nice to win,” says Smith, adding: “A lot of the big players  such as HP and Epson were involved in social media, so it was a bit of a surprise.”

Vivid, based in the South Hall at FESPA, also says it had a strong show in terms of the quality of leads to their stand, putting it down, in part, to their use of LED screens to show products in action.

Smith explains: “We had a huge number of enquiries and quality leads from the exhibition. There was a great deal of interest in both our wide-format finishing products, as well as our Matrix MX-530 Duplex, which was making its debut at the show”
