AOPEN pledges affordability with new media players
AOPEN, a technology company that specialises in smart products and services for cloud-based applications, has launched two new media players that it says offer affordable solutions to customers across the market.

Both the DE5500 and DEX5550 4K allow users to manage smart retail applications
The DE5500 and DEX5550 4K are both Windows-based Digital Engine models that enable users to manage smart retail applications with AIoT Edge Control capabilities.
The 4K DEX5550 is billed as the ‘ideal’ enterprise solution for interactive kiosks, 3D wayfinding, and digital signage, as its ultra-slim, fanless design allows users to integrate easily into kiosks and behind displays.
Meanwhile, the DEX5550 is ruggedized for smart manufacturing applications like assembly line item detection and also suitable for managing smart retail applications such as facial recognition.
