The theatre now features a 20sq m LED display, back-lit lettering and light strips

A 20sq m LED display, back-lit lettering and light strips now adorn the front of the building, offering a more modern look to its previous display.

The theatre now has the ability to show high quality video clips and exclusive previews on the big screen, which in turn could help draw in more interest from passers-by.

“By incorporating a digital screen we can communicate our extensive programme in a single signage solution, taking our external marketing to a whole new level and achieving greater stand-out for the venue itself,” comments Birmingham Hippodrome’s director of operations, Mike Bradford.

Leisure and live entertainment venues are increasingly embracing LED screen technology because it offers incredible opportunities in terms of visitor experience and commercial value

“We chose to partner with ADI because of their specialism in LED and their ability to oversee the entire project, co-ordinating additional elements that add impact.”

Drew Burrow, ADI’s business development manager, adds, “Leisure and live entertainment venues are increasingly embracing LED screen technology because it offers incredible opportunities in terms of visitor experience and commercial value.”
