Interactive display system expert MultiTouch has confirmed its new 4K 84” MultiTaction Cell is now available for pre-order, ahead of its expected launch next year.

The firm first previewed a prototype of the technology at its annual developer conference and partner summit in September and, with the product set to go into production in mid-2014, it has opened up the pre-order process.
“Our 84” MultiTaction Cell prototype represents a giant leap not just in screen size but in resolution too,” explains Hannu Anttila, vice president of business development at MultiTouch.
“Customers who take advantage of the pre-ordering programme will not only be among the first to benefit from this ground-breaking technology, but will also be able to purchase the complete package at a discount of more than 20 percent.”

Boasting an 84” display, MultiTouch says the 4K offers ultra-fast response times, simultaneous pen and touch support, and the ability to track unlimited touch points simultaneously.
The new product is also supported by MultiTouch’s latest version of the Cornerstone 2 software development kit (SDK).
As well as a 20 percent discount, the pre-order package also includes a built-in 4K application PC, MultiTaction ‘experience app’ with example 4K content, support agreement, flour mount trolley with wheels, as well as transport cases.
