Multitouch and Ventuz says the new offering is suited to a range of different applications, including broadcast graphics and video wall setups
The two firms say the new partnership will guarantee the ‘finest design paired with robust stability and full functionality, even when integrated into complex hardware and software systems’.
Ventuz will combine its authoring applications with the Multitaction series of LCD displays, utilising interactive features, such as IR pen and Enriched Reality support. The solution will be deployable in scalable table or wall installations of any size.
Multitaction offers gesture and object recognition capabilities with its ability to accommodate an unlimited amount of simultaneous users. This, coupled with the Enriched Technology feature that enables cells to react with real-life objects placed on the screen, will allow Ventuz to demonstrate its latest software suite, Ventuz 4, that offers an enhanced video engine. It will also introduce Ventuz Director, which serves as a control tool for Ventuz content.
The companies claim that the new solution will be suitable for a number of different applications, including professional presentations, video wall setups, multitouch applications or broadcast graphics, clearly demonstrating the impressive flexibility of the product.
The first showing of the new offering took place at the InfoComm 2013 show, which was held in June at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida. The installation included three Multitaction Ultra-Thin Bexel 55” displays that demonstrated Ventuz’s tools for creating 3D touch content to visitors, during the three days of the event.
