Brett Newman is the new chief operations manager at Hybrid Services after twelve years at Roland DG UK

Newman explained his motivation for the move: “Mimaki’s reputation as an innovator and the scope of its current and future product portfolio were major factors in taking the new role at Hybrid.

“This position presents a great opportunity to work within a fast-moving company that’s developing new products across a wide range of sectors.”

He concludes: “No other manufacturer consistently delivers products into so many areas of the print industry and I’m delighted to be joining Hybrid at such an exciting time; helping our reseller partners and end-users benefit from Mimaki’s latest technology.”

Hybrid is Mimaki’s exclusive UK and Irish distributor, and Newman joins the firm from major competitor Roland DG UK, where he left as managing director after a twelve-year spell at the company.

Newman brings more than two decades of experience working within the sign and graphics industry to Hybrid and will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations.

“We are delighted to welcome Brett to the team at Hybrid and look forward to drawing on his many years of experience and industry knowledge,” states Hybrid director, Peter Mitchell. He adds: “His role will encompass all facets of the business, but with a specific focus on our sales and service offering, he will be central to Hybrid and Mimaki’s continued growth.”
