New premises pave the way for growth

Insign Limited has said that its recent move to a new 10,000sq ft headquarters will help the company to achieve further growth.

Paul Woollatt, founder of Insign Limited, is upbeat about the company’s growth prospects after the relocation

Boasting a 25-strong workforce, Insign counts a host of companies and brands amongst its customer list, both in Sheffield and in other parts of the UK. Paul Woollatt, who founded Insign in 1993, says the new site is better suited to supporting the firm and its ambitious growth aims.

“We’re really pleased how quickly we have settled in to our new home,” Woollatt comments, adding: “We had used up all our available working space at the old premises and we desperately needed more room to service our expanding client base.

“In no time at all we have found that we are benefiting from the additional working capacity and increased efficiency on all departments, giving us the confidence to regularly invite potential clients for a tour of our facilities and attract more business from a variety of national customers.”

Woollatt continues: “The new factory is almost twice the size of where we were previously, so it was a big decision for us with months of planning in every aspect. We have plenty of space to grow into but already, at the back of our minds, we’re thinking 'what next?'

"We are proud of what we do in the city - Sheffield Theatres, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Meadowhall are all clients - but we have installation teams out on the road working in different locations around the UK every week.

"So while the inspirational poem on the side of the Howard Building near the train station or the colour changing sign adorning the Crucible may be easy ones to tell people about, we will equally be responsible for a Toolstation trade counter around Greater London or a large Go Outdoors store in the Midlands."
