The new 3.2m Zünd G3 cutter has a specially developed fabric tensioning system, critical for the effective transport of the high elastane-content polyester fabrics
The firm’s director, Mark Thompson, comments: “It revolutionised what we did. We went from struggling to finish at the end of the day to having time to spare. It’s worth every penny that we paid for it and more.”

He continues: “Since so few UK graphics companies can handle very wide fabrics, this 3.2m machine gives Printdesigns an even greater competitive edge in the marketplace.
"The demand for lightweight exhibition graphics is set to grow and grow, and Printdesigns is ideally placed to grow with it.”
Nick Reed, product manager at Zünd Plotting Systems UK, adds: "For print businesses who traditionally cut materials manually, the addition of a Zünd digital cutting table – configured for their unique requirements – can absolutely transform production, as Printdesigns discovered.”
