Roland DG battle strategy gains ground

Following the recent strategic move to significantly expand its market share in the UK, Roland DG has revealed it is paying dividends with increased sales. The initiative took the form of a customer deal that sees it offer a trade in service and a £5,000 payment when purchasing its flagship Soljet Pro 4 XR-640 print technology.

Roland DG has launched a new sales weapon, with the offer running until 5pm on December 23rd 2014

The offer applies to all roll-to-roll or print and cut device brands between 54 and 74” wide which use solvent, eco-solvent, UV, or latex ink.

“With pressure on printers and sign makers to provide premium quality output and meet extremely tight deadlines, the XR-640 offers both speed and the highest quality standards,” says Rob Goleniowski, business manager—Sign and Graphics for Roland DG.

He adds: “Our aim with this promotion is to enable existing and new customers to refresh their printing technology and maintain their competitive edge.”

Launched to much acclaim at Sign and Digital UK 2013, the 64” 4 XR-640 is Roland’s widest and fastest print and cut device. Catering for the increasingly tight deadlines demanded by sign-buyers, the machine is available in four ink configurations, with Roland’s ECO-SOL MAX 2 specialty inks, including a light black, metallic and high-opacity white.
