Mimaki’s new EMEA set-up will look to mirror the success of its 2012 European operations

Adding staff in sales, internet marketing, warranty and tech support, the firm made the move following a successful 2012 for its European set-up. The move will not effect Hybrid Services, the exclusive distributor of Mimaki products in the UK.

It claims to have generated, ‘strong sales and leads’ at a number of key European trade shows in the last year, and its new strengthened set-up will improve its market position further.

We’re really excited about the next chapter for Mimaki. We look forward to offering print houses in EMEA the same level of service and technical support that has proved so popular across Europe

Mimaki Europe marketing manager, Mike Horsten, described 2012 as a ‘defining’ year for the firm, adding: “The response to our products at trade shows has been universally positive, and for some products to win highly respected industry awards underlines the progress we’ve made in the last year.”

Mimaki generated interest in its projects at events including FESPA Digital, Drupa and UK-based Sign and Digital UK, and with more exhibitions set to follow next year, the firm could be set for further success.

Horsten continues: “We’re really excited about the next chapter for Mimaki. We look forward to offering print houses in EMEA the same level of service and technical support that has proved so popular across Europe.”
