UK Signage company Merson Group has announced a partnership with electric vehicle brand, Zeekr, to deliver its dealership signage.
Merson Group’s partnership with Zeekr will see the creation of illuminated logos, dealership wordmarks, and custom entrance totems, all tailored to the car company’s brand image as an eco-conscious luxury vehicle manufacturer.
The dealership signage will utilise LED lighting, chosen for its low energy consumption in comparison to other lighting choices and reflecting wider trends within the signage industry.
The project marks the first time that Merson has delivered signage solutions to an electric car company, having previously worked with brands including Volvo, Lotus, and Aston Martin. According to the company, partnering with an electric vehicle company aligns with Merson’s sustainable ethos.
Gavin McMurray, chief customer service officer at Merson Group, says: “We are thrilled to partner with Zeekr on this exciting project. Zeekr’s vision of a sustainable future aligns perfectly with our own values.
“We are confident that our innovative approach to signage design and our commitment to sustainability will help elevate Zeekr’s brand presence.”
Merson was reportedly chosen by Zeekr due to its commitment to sustainability, its utilising of premium materials, and the creativity of its design process.
Lucy Collier, senior network developer at Zeekr Europe, adds: “Merson Group were lightyears ahead of the competition during the tender process.
“Their ability to go above and beyond with their innovative approach to signage design and sustainability truly impressed us. We are excited to begin this partnership and look forward to seeing the results of their work.”
The manufacture and installation of the signage is expected to commence in late 2024 through to early 2025.
