Soyang Europe, a provider of materials and technologies for wide-format and superwide-format print, has announced that it has become the official distributor for Platinum Technologies LIYU (LIYU) in Great Britain.
As part of the new deal, which builds on a long-standing relationship between the two companies, Soyang Europe will have access to LIYU’s entire range of solutions.
Print service providers (PSPs) in the region seeking further insight into LIYU technologies can now see several machines in action at Soyang’s professional demonstration facility in Accrington.
Headquartered in China, LIYU is a manufacturer of wide-ranging solutions across the wide-format and industrial print markets.
The new partnership will drive further growth of LIYU’s printers across England, Scotland, and Wales, aiming to offer users enhanced confidence, dependable performance, and comprehensive long-term production support.
Among the solutions now offered by Soyang is the Liyu Signature H3340, a UV hybrid printer that can run at speeds of up to 350sq m/hr in high productivity mode.
Platinum Technologies LIYU will be unveiling the new printer later this month at Stand C121 in Hall 3 of the upcoming FESPA Global Print Expo in Barcelona.
The new device, which is part of LIYU’s brand-new Signature Series, can print at a high resolution of 2400dpi in a wide range of colours including CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white, and various neon ink options.
Visitors to Soyang Europe’s demonstration facility will also be able to view the Liyu Platinum KCXL+ flatbed UV press, which has a top speed of 400sq m/hr. Also capable of printing at a resolution of 2400dpi, the solution has a bed size of 3.05m x 2.05m and can print on a wide range of media up to 100mm tall.
The Liyu Platinum PCT LED, a roll-to-roll machine that can print at 120sq m/hr on media as wide as 3.2m, is also on display in Accrington. Designed with versatility in mind, the device can deliver vibrant prints across a host of materials, making it suitable for signage, textile, promotional graphics, and interior décor applications.
