Printwear & Promotion LIVE! is set to return to Birmingham’s NEC this Sunday with a new format and new speakers and exhibitors.

For the first time since being acquired by Printwear’s organisers, Datateam Business Media, this year’s show will be co-running with Sign & Digital UK (SDUK), one of the UK’s longest running trade shows for the visual communications sector.

Doors for the two exhibitions will open at 10am on Sunday, February 25th, with a registration for either event enabling visitors to explore both shows.

Event director Tony Gardner, comments: “Sign & Digital UK 2024 is the first SDUK under our ownership, and we are really looking forward to seeing how the co-located event works. All shows must continue to develop their offering and we believe a co-located event is key to help grow the show, and to attract a new audience into the world of sign-making and large-format digital printing.

“Visitors will have the chance to explore the latest technology and innovations firsthand, with many of these advancements being showcased in the UK for the first time."

The show will include a variety of industry experts for visitors to learn from in The Decoration Advice Suite and The Knowledge Centre in Printwear and Promotion as well as The Explains Lounge in SDUK.

In the Decoration Advice Suite Colin Marsh of Resolute DTF will talk about the growing area of direct-to-film (DTF) printing.

Dave Conner from Stahls’ and Transfer Express is a new addition to this year’s lineup, flying over from the US to host two sessions about DTF transfers and the future of print on-demand.

The Knowledge Centre will also see the return of a previous speaker with Instagram expert Estelle Keeber discussing her knowledge on popular trends and social media.

The Online Print Coach, Colin Sinclair McDermott, will also be making his debut in The Knowledge Centre, sharing quick winning strategies, and how to create effective processes to succeed in 2024.

Sinclair McDermott will also appear on SDUK’s Explains Lounge where he will be hosting live versions of his Printerview podcast with Craig Brown, chief executive officer of International Signage Association (ISA-UK), as well as Andy Hancock, director of Mexar Ink.

Other presentations on the Explains Lounge include a look at Tradeprint’s strategic expansion with Anthony Rowell, The Recruitment Panel which includes a selection of experts in recruiting talent in the industry, as well as talks from the likes of Sam Armstrong, Alex Liggett, and Alan Foster.
