Sign-making material supplier, Dorotape, has announced that it will display a range of new materials at The Sign Show this year, with the aim of inspiring visitors and demonstrating how it can support them across a range of projects.

The Sign Show will take place alongside The Print Show for 2025, aiming to act as the UK’s “annual dedicated sign expo” and pledging to establish a show focused on signage solutions alongside print.

Based on Stand S122 of the exhibition near the front of the hall, Dorotape will showcase various materials on its stand.

Dorotape specialises in self-adhesive films, serving as a UK distributor for global brands including ASLAN, Poli-Tape, Fedrigoni (Ritrama), Nekoosa (R-Tape), Neschen, Kernow, and Coverstyl.

At The Sign Show, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about some of the latest options from Dorotape inlcuding ASLAN SE74 Holostripe, Kernow Metaliks, Floor Appeal, and Glass Apeel.

All products in this range are PVC-free and, according to Dorotape's director, Michael Ingram, will help “spark new ideas”.

Glass Apeel, for example, is a PVC-free window film designed as an alternative to traditional static cling vinyl which offers “complete repositionability and lifetime removability”, reportedly able to be stored and reused multiple times.

“With fresh materials landing in Q3, The Sign Show is the perfect place to introduce them,” Ingram says, adding: “The Sign Show is shaping up to be the only UK event focused entirely on display and signage, with plenty of new tech and inspiration."

Explaining Dorotape's choice to exhibit at The Sign Show, Ingram says: “Like many, we’ve felt that sign exhibitions have lost their direction in recent years, which is why we’ve focused on smaller, niche events.

“But when [event director] Chris Davies explained his vision for The Sign Show, it just clicked. It feels like the right moment to return and put our creative materials back in the spotlight. We’re bringing colour, impact, and plenty of wow factor. Expect eye-catching metallised and dichroic self-adhesive films, along with standout digital print media for windows, walls, and floors."

The Sign Show at the NEC Birmingham takes place from September 23rd to 25th. Those wishing to attend this year’s edition of the show can register for free at the following link
