Matic Media has completed its transition to Graphic Warehouse alongside £1.1m in investments that include major printing technology updates

Matic Media Services has completed its transition to its new name, Graphic Warehouse, revealing a range of significant operational advancements and sustainability efforts alongside the revamp.
The rebrand follows a £1.1m investment in a new facility alongside an update to its printing technology.
The newly named Graphic Warehouse specialises in wide-format printing solutions including flags, banners, signs, display graphics, and exhibition stands.
Upgrades to its printing solutions aim to expand Graphic Warehouse’s capacity while ensuring faster turnaround times and reducing energy usage. Among the new kit, the new facility now houses a Liyu Platinum Q3 wide-format printer, which the company reportedly purchased for its ability to print on a broader range of eco-friendly materials.
Facility updates include the installation of a line of solar panels on the roof, which reportedly generated over 500KW of energy in the first month of installation, despite it being winter. The company aims to significantly reduce its dependence on grid electricity as part of its wider sustainability goals.
Supported by a local authority grant, the solar panel installation is projected to pay for itself in less than three years, part of the company’s goals to achieve net zero.
Richard McCombe, managing director of Graphic Warehouse, says: "These milestones mark a significant era for our business. The rebranding to Graphic Warehouse and the move to a more modern and sustainable facility reflect our dedication to leading the industry in both environmental stewardship and innovative customer solutions."
The family-run business, based in North Lanarkshire, has also announced its commitment to developing young people from the local area through local initiatives, encouraging school leavers to enter the print industry through an apprenticeship programme.
Although the brand has migrated to Graphic Warehouse, the company’s legal entity will remain the same - Matic Media Services Ltd.
The company’s previous work includes delivering new branding for Scotland Rugby’s BT Murrayfield Stadium including banners, floor and wall graphics.
