UK-based independent print machinery supplier, CMYUK Group, has announced the launch of CMYK Europe, a new company within the wider organisation that will serve European customers.

CMYK Europe will replicate many of the resources, products, and services of the core CMYUK brand, which offers a variety of wide-format digital printers and finishing equipment for the UK and Ireland.

CMYK Europe will support customers throughout Europe from a planned Polish facility, backed by the group’s experience in digital equipment, applications, customer service, sales, and marketing.

CMYUK has expanded in recent years as a supplier in the digital printing production equipment sector, working with technology partners such as EFI, Canon, Mimaki, and JWEI.

Last year, CMYUK was announced as the top global sales partner of the Canon Colorado series, with the prize presented to the company by senior Canon figures at FESPA Global Print Expo in Berlin.

Among its recent investments has been a £3m demonstration and training centre in the UK, created as a resource where customers can evaluate equipment in conditions that closely simulate their own production environments.

Robin East, CMYUK’s group chief commercial officer, says: “The foundation of our success has always been our customer service and engineering reputation.

“We know what the market needs because we’ve spent decades helping customers test, evaluate, and deploy technology in real-world conditions. Operating CMYK Europe from Poland allows us to serve the European market from a central, fast-growing region, while staying true to the model that has worked so well in the UK and Ireland.”

CMYK Europe is in the process of recruiting experienced sales professionals across European territories, who will be able to leverage CMYUK’s sales and marketing infrastructure while being supported from the Polish facility. It is also recruiting a new team of engineers to replicate CMYUK’s existing service-led model.

East adds: “We are very excited to develop our business and replicate our model into Europe. The foundation we’ve built over two and a half decades gives us real confidence that we can build a significant business serving European customers.”
