UK print supplier, CMYUK, was announced as the top global sales partner of the Canon Colorado series for 2024 at this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo
UK digital print technology and materials supplier, CMYUK, has been named Canon's top global sales partner for its UVgel Colorado printer series in 2024.
The accolade, announced and presented on the opening day of this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo, follows CMYUK’s recent announcement that it was also Canon’s top partner in Europe for Colorado sales in the same period.
CMYUK edged out competition from international markets, with a reported increase in global competition for the award in the last year.
The Colorado series has seen increasing sales year over year through Canon’s sales partner channel, which CMYUK is a member of.
The printer aims to carve out a unique position in the mid-volume sector for 1.6m wide-format printing, creating what has been described as a ‘market within a market’.
The Colorado is designed to replace multiple printers with a single fully modular unit, with the ability to configure and update the system as you go.
When presenting the award, Canon highlighted several factors that it felt were behind CMYUK's success with the Colorado series, including its focus on customer service and a strong understanding of the Colorado series’ modularity.
