Innotech has announced details of third annual Pets in Print competition, which sees pets from across print and signage vying to be recognised as ‘top dog’

Digital print media and display hardware provider, Innotech Digital, has relaunched the UK print and signage industries’ “cuddliest competition of the year” – Pets in Print 2026.
Now in its third year, the competition sees the pets of print and signage professionals vying to be recognised as ‘top dog,’ with a panel of judges deciding which pet wins out in terms of cuteness, charisma, or character.
Last year, Gary the Boxer dog from Print.com was chosen as the winner of the competition. According to the organisers, Gary faced stiff competition from a diverse field of entrants, with the cuteness of entries being at an all-time high.
To apply for Pets in Print, applicants need to share photos to social media of their pet in an office environment wearing the Pets in Print bandana. Entrants can request bandanas by emailing sales@innotechdigital.com
Pets must be photographed in a work environment, and entrants must give a description of the role their pet plays in the workplace with as much detail as possible. Any social media posts must tag Innotech and use the hashtag #PetsInPrint to count as an entry, but pictures can be posted on any social media platform.
The competition officially starts on March 1st and ends on March 31st, with judging taking place in early April. The winner will earn the ultimate title of 2026 Pets in Print Champion, as well as win some surprise gifts from Innotech.

Sam Lowe, marketing manager for Innotech, says: “This competition has really captured the hearts of printers all over the country, and we saw some incredible entries last year.
“We love seeing the pictures come in. The higher quality the image, the better, and of course it’s the descriptions that also really give the full story of the role the pets play in the business.”
This year, Innotech is also partnering with the Dogs Trust as part of the event, with £2 being donated to the charity for every online order over £150 during March.
The judges for this year’s event include Gail Coles from the Dogs Trust, as well as industry pet lovers Carys Evans from Karis Copp Media, Colin Sinclair McDermott, aka the Online Print Coach, and Jack Gocher and Kathryn Ridout from Eye on Display.
Last year, the competition was ‘rocked by scandal’ as Alfie the dog from Graphic Warehouse attempted to bribe two of the judges with cheques from ‘Barkley's Bank’ and crypto dog vouchers worth 1000 doggy biscuits.
Although the attempt at bribery, described by witnesses as “pawful” and “very ruff”, was uncovered before judging began, Alfie was still disqualified. Nevertheless, Alfie has since been described by his owner, Richard McCombe, as a “good boy”.
