Gary, a Boxer from Print.com, won this year’s Pets in Print competition, which reportedly included a diverse range of entrants from across the industry

Innotech Digital and Display have announced the winner of this year’s Pets in Print competition – Garry, a Boxer from Print.com UK.
Online print management platform, Print.com, landed in the UK in June 2024, with its first in-person introduction to the UK market taking place at The Print Show later that year. Garry works in a key role as the company’s ‘chief morale woofficer’.
According to the organisers, Garry faced stiff competition from a diverse field of entrants, with the cuteness of entries being at an all-time high.
The judges this year were Carys Evans from Karis Copp Media, Colin Sinclair McDermott, the Online Print Coach, and Jack Gocher and Kathryn Ridout from Eye on Display.
The judges agreed that Garry showed all the qualities required of a hard-working print pooch, modelling not only his Pets in Print bandana but also a branded hoodie.
Speaking of Garry’s win, Evans says: “This has been a really hard decision as all the entries have their own appeal. I’d give them all prizes if I could. However, Gary won us all over with his expressive face and his clear role in the Print.com team.”

The competition drew a lot of attention and participation online, including an April Fool’s prank started by Richard McCombe of Graphic Warehouse. As part of the prank, McCombe claimed that his dog, Alfie, had been disqualified from the competition for attempting to bribe the judges “with cheques from Barkley's Bank for crypto dog vouchers worth 1000 doggy biscuits.”
Tony Murgatroyd, regional account manager at Innotech, and Sam Lowe, Innotech’s creative lead, presented the trophy to Gary and his owner, Fiona Robinson of Print.com.
Speaking of Garry’s win, Robinson says: “We are delighted that Garry has been recognised with this award as the good boy we know him to be.”
Runners-up in the competition were Oz from Imagink and Hugo from Kazoo Print Solutions. Special mentions were also given to Koda from Woodlodge Products, who the judges named as the Rising Star, and Pepper and Pixie from Liyu England, who took the prize for Dynamic Duo.
