Imageco has announced a string of recent appointments and promotions to its team, as part of expansion plans in response to growing demand

UK graphics and signage specialist, Imageco, has announced a string of recent appointments and promotions which aim to strengthen its core team and support the next generation of sign-makers.
Among the announcements was the full-time appointment of David Griffin within the company’s Design & Build team.
An exhibition builder by trade, Griffin previously worked for Imageco on a freelance basis, with him being hired on a number of projects within the last year.
In a statement on LinkedIn about Griffin’s appointment, Imageco says: “David brings valuable experience and technical know-how that will help us tackle ever more complex briefs.
“He’ll be working closely with [3D designer] Dean [Sharp] and the Projects team to specify, build, manage, and install, taking our in-house capabilities to the next level.”
Abbie Hignett, a previous project manager at the company, has also been promoted to the role of head of projects.
Hignett joined Imageco just over a year ago, and according to the company has since “transformed how we plan, deliver, and communicate projects.”
In her new role, Hignett will be tasked with leading the Projects team and implementing new ways of operating in response to growing workloads.
Rounding off the announcements, Isabel Shanahan has transitioned from Imageco’s Studio team into the Projects team as a project coordinator.
Under Hignett’s guidance, Shanahan will be assigned to supporting new projects from start to finish and helping to ensure that each job runs smoothly.
Shanahan, who is a previous winner of the Rising Star Award at the UK Graphics Awards, was featured in a Fresh Perspectives feature for SignLink where she reflected on her experience in signage and asked what needs to be done to keep attracting young people to the industry.
Discussing the new appointments, Imageco adds: “Exciting times ahead as we continue to evolve, strengthen, and hit 2026 stronger than ever before.”
Earlier this year, Imageco also installed a new HP Latex 800W supplied by Perfect Colours, in order to enhance its production capabilities and environmental credentials.
Speaking at the time of the installation, managing director of Imageco, Nathan Swinson-Bullough, said: “The HP Latex 830W enables us to deliver high-performance print across a huge range of substrates, while meeting the growing demand for greener solutions in visual communications."
