HP has officially signed as an exhibitor for this year’s Sign Show, the first time it has exhibited at a UK print trade exhibition since 2019.

Scheduled to run for the first time in 2025, The Sign Show will take place alongside The Print Show from September 23rd to 25th at the NEC in Birmingham. The event is being billed as the UK’s “annual dedicated sign expo”, pledging to establish a show focused on signage solutions alongside print.

A plethora of exhibitors have already been announced for both The Print Show and The Sign Show including Fujifilm, Agfa, Epson, and swissQprint, as well as Hybrid Services, the exclusive distributor of Mimaki products in the UK.

The 80sq m HP stand will be situated right at the front of the entrance to the hall, alongside Hybrid Services. HP will use the show to promote a range of its latest wide-format solutions, including the HP Latex 730 and 830 series, as well as the recently released HP Latex R530.

The announcement comes after the company’s large presence at this year’s FESPA as well as ISA Sign Expo 2025. The latter show where was where HP announced the launch of the HP Latex 730 and HP Latex 830 printer series, its latest generation of water-based wide-format printing solutions.

The Latex 730 and 830 are designed to deliver high print quality and enhanced productivity for small and medium-sized print service providers (PSPs), with both presses offering automated double-sided printing capabilities.

The R530 aims to simplify rigid printing without the potential space constraints or high investment costs of traditional flatbeds. It features a hybrid design, HP Latex inks, and HP’s latest Pixel Control technology, designed with ease of use and sustainability in mind.

Speaking after officially signing on for The Sign Show, Colin Easton, channel manager for HP UK & Ireland Large Format, said: “One of the reasons for being there is the co-location with The Print Show. I think it brings great synergy for our business, and it’s great to see lots of other vendors there as well, bringing us a great audience to drive the business.”

Speaking in more detail about the solutions that HP will present at the exhibition, Easton continues: “We’re really excited this time, because we’ve got some new products to bring to market.

“We’ll bring to the table the HP Latex 730/830 series with great new improvements in the products. We’ll also bring the new and greatest innovation from the HP Latex R530, which is a revolutionary product – an all-in-one device that I hope everyone should be interested in. It will be great to see you all at the show and we’re looking forward to being back after being away for several years.”

The Sign Show also recently announced details of a special feature ahead of its debut later this year, titled the ‘School of Wrap’.

The School of Wrap area, which will be free to access, will cover topics including vehicle wrapping and architectural wrap, aiming to offer valuable insight into these markets.

Visitors will be able to see live demonstrations from wrapping specialists, Q&A sessions with industry experts, as well as the opportunity to try out wrapping vehicles, furniture, and various other items first-hand.
