The Acuity LED 1600 II can print at speeds of up to 33sq m/hr

The LED UV inkjet printer is the updated model of the Acuity LED 1600, which has proved highly popular in the market since its launch in 2012.

The latest device is capable of hitting speeds of up to 33sq m/hr, twice that of the previous model, and offers both two- and three-layer printing when combined with Caldera or ColorGATE RIP software.

Fujifilm says that the Acuity LED 1600 II is also able to print a wider range of applications than the existing model due to the addition of an automated jetting adjustment based on the gap between the printhead and media, as well new vacuum settings.

The device will be shown for the first time in Europe at Viscom Paris, which takes place in the French capital from September 29th until October 1st
