The tool is now also compatible with the VersaUV LEC2-330/640 UV-LED printer/cutters and the LEC2 S-series printers with flatbed/belt transfer system

New additions to Roland DG Connect 1.1 include a printer monitoring function allowing customers to check the operational status of multiple printers in real time so that they can operate their printers more efficiently.

The software also now offers a business dashboard that enables users to perform simple profit and cost calculations by entering the unit selling price of the output and the prices of ink and media.

This, Roland DG says, helps foster increased profitability by setting appropriate sales prices and increasing cost awareness.

Johan Struyfs, EMEA service director at Roland DG, comments: “Roland DG Connect is a valuable free service that greatly expands the creative possibilities of our customers by connecting them to a wide range of people and resources over the internet.

“Customers tell us that being able to easily observe the operating status of their printers has led to the implementation of appropriate maintenance for stable product operation and the realisation of increased efficiency and profitability.

“We will continue to add new features, services, and supported printers to generate an even more compelling creative ecosystem among our customers worldwide.”
