Mimaki releases free Fine Cut update
Hybrid Services, the exclusive UK and Irish distributor of Mimaki, has announced a free update for Mimaki’s Fine Cut plugin software that supports the new Illustrator CC2018 on Mac’s and PC’s.

The Fine Cut plugin is supplied free with all of Mimaki’s pinch roll and flatbed cutting plotters and is designed to streamline the production process.
Hybrid Services’ technical services manager, Jeff Marsh, says: “Mimaki Fine Cut is a powerful, yet simple to use addition to both Illustrator and Corel Draw and this update ensures users with the latest version of the Adobe package can integrate the production process.

Hybrid says the Fine Cut plugin enables users to work with industry standard software yet with hardware specific options to hand.
Also featuring as part of the software package provided with Mimaki’s printer/cutters, such as the recently launched UCJV series LED UV models, Fine Cut works alongside Mimaki’s Raster Link RIP package to integrate the design, print, cut process.
With features such as Mimaki’s unique die-cutting process and the newly added ID Cut barcoding function, Hybrid says Fine Cut is a “time-saving and easy to use production tool”.
