Included in the range is ArtCAM Express, an entry-level product that features 2D design tools, more than 600 free 3D models, and both 2D and 3D machining capabilities.

ArtCAM Express has also been improved with a number of new line drawing and editing features, such as the inclusion of a number quick select options to help the user with various projects.

In addition, the ‘Vector Doctor’ tool has been enhanced to allow designers to quickly find and fix problematic areas of 2D artwork.

Elsewhere, ArtCAM Insignia 2013 is a mid-range CADCAM product that includes all the features of Express and a range of additional features.

The introductory 3D modelling package covers a range of 2D and 3D design and machining functions – while it is also capable of adding or removing material to create a draft angle on any piece of relief artwork.

It also allows users to place, drag along, or resize bridges and tabs on vectors and start them at the beginning of profile cuts.

Also included in the range is ArtCAM Pro 2103, an enhanced advanced artistic CADCAM package.

Users can create tapered designs with the Fluted Toolpath feature like in Insignia, as well as machine fluted weaves. It is also a host for powerful interactive distortion modelling.
