Vicky Jarman, marketing manager of Printmax, will run this year’s London Marathon for the children's charity NEPTanzania
Jarman, who took up running just twelve months ago, will take on the 26.2 mile challenge in aid of NEPTanzania, a charity that aims to improve education access and the overall wellbeing of Maasai children in rural Tanzania.
As a ten-year London Marathon volunteer, Jarman was able to apply for an allocated place in this year’s race, which takes place on May 4th.

“I only started running last year to try and get to 6k as a goal, I never thought I’d have 26.2 miles looming but I’m confident that my training and willpower will pay off,” Jarman says, adding: “It’s not ideal facing the marathon in the same week as Sign and Digital UK, the exhibition alone is usually pretty exhausting but as they say, if it was easy, everyone would do it.”
