Sign Plus has achieved the Investors in Young People Accreditation for its employment of young people

The accreditation is offered to all businesses across Scotland, having originated through a key recommendation from the Commission for Developing Scotland’s Young Workforce.

Since 2014, the accreditation has recognised and supported organisations in the employment of young people.

Investing in Young People has allowed the business to continue to grow and develop with a clearly defined structure with the experience to support this

“It is a fantastic accolade for the company to be acknowledged for their vision and belief in developing from the grass roots,” says Gordon Miller, managing director, adding: “Investing in Young People has allowed the business to continue to grow and develop with a clearly defined structure with the experience to support this.

"This has resulted in the company together with the individual achieving their goals, both bringing success and a very clear career path for the chosen young person.”

Sign Plus will now be able to display the Investors in Young People logo and plaque, and enjoy its benefits.

Peter Russian, chief executive of Investors in People Scotland, adds: “This is a fantastic achievement for Sign Plus Ltd and I and the whole IIYP team would like to wholeheartedly congratulate them.

"The Investors in Young People framework not only recognises and supports organisations in the employment of young people, but marks them out as an employer of choice.

“I envisage that many more organisations will wish to follow in the footsteps of Sign Plus and demonstrate their commitment to young people by working with the Investors in Young People framework.”
