William Smith’s open day saw equipment demonstrations and interactive opportunities in vehicle wrapping

The open day, held at the company’s Barnard Castle site, and the roadshows in Lingfield and Solihull, saw experts from 3M, Arlon, ContraVision and others on hand to give advice, as well as William Smith’s very own technical team.

It was great to meet customers and we really appreciate them making the time to come along

“We’d like to say a big thank you to all our visitors,” says marketing manager, Chris Bradley, adding: “It was great to meet customers and we really appreciate them making the time to come along. We hope they found the day useful and interesting and were able to take away some new ideas for their own businesses.”

Over the three days, the team demonstrated and advised visitors about the materials and services on offer to them.

This included interactive opportunities, especially in vehicle wrapping, and demonstrations of a new sign display system called Quick Stand. Also popular were the wall wrap vinyls, paint protection film, and new digital print films.

The open day was met with plenty of positive feedback from those who attended. Michael Czubinski of Vinyl Wrap Design UK says: “I really liked the openness shown by everyone and the fact that there were people who could answer all my questions; you could learn a lot from them. I attended the seminar on Architectural Window Films and was very impressed.”
