Allen Signs reaps national wrapping award
An impressive wrap of a double decker bus has earned Lincoln-based sign-maker and vehicle livery specialist Allen Signs a national award.

The firm was awarded the Vehicle Graphics of the Year prize at this year’s British Sign Awards for the work they did on the 17-year-old bus, which belongs to potato firm Branston.
David Allen, Managing Director at Allen Signs, says: “We are delighted to be recognised for our hard work and to win an award at the British Sign Awards.”

The difficult job, which landed the Allen team recognition, involved wrapping the outside and inside of the bus with digitally printed vinyl, transforming it into Billy Branston’s Amazing Potato Factory, a fully functional mobile classroom touring the country to teach primary school children journey of potatoes from farm to fork.
