Sihl targets Midlands expansion

Building on two years of consistent UK growth, sign-making materials supplier Sihl Direct UK has revealed the appointment of key new sales talent to expand its market share in the Midlands.

Kelvin Furniss joins Sihl Direct UK to help expand its market share as regional sales representative for the Midlands

With more than 30 years of sales experience in the sign and display industry, Kelvin Furniss joins the company from market competitor Paperlinx as its new regional sales representative.


“We have achieved significant growth in the UK market since our launch two years ago and to further this development we wanted to add to our sales team. We are very confident that Kelvin’s essential mix of experience, enthusiasm, and commitment will prove hugely successful in this important role,” says Ian Turnbull, operations director for Sihl Direct UK.


Furniss weighs in on his new appointment: “I am very excited about this opportunity. My strengths have always been in working closely with customers to deliver products and solutions that generate true business benefit.

Furniss is also keen to emphasise some of Sihl’s key strengths he will be seeking to communicate to sign-makers: “This market is characterised by the speed of change in technology.
