The new 1380 series of wrap films from 3M is a range of long-term cast films, ideal for solid colour vehicle wrapping. There are 14 colours in the range and they are available in 1.52m wide rolls.

The company has also revealed five new shades of the Oracal 970 Premium Shift Effect Cast films, designed to change colour depending on the angle you are looking at them from. Colours include pearl symphony, avocado, amethyst, aquamarine, and ultramarine violet, in either a gloss or matt finish.

Also from Oracal are three new transparent coloured overlaminates in orange, purple, and green; these can be combined with Conform Chrome films to create different colour combinations.

He adds: “These latest additions to our portfolio reflect the dynamism and growth in the market for innovative and standout products, especially in vehicle wrapping and interior décor. The wrap products in particular will help vehicle wrappers create truly bespoke and eye-catching designs.”

Other new products include Avery Dennison’s MPI 1105 wrapping series with 3D conformability that can handle demanding vehicles. Also from Avery, the MPI 8000 Wall Film Series is available in six colours including textured options in canvas, stone, and stucco; these are ideal for wall graphics.
