The inks are suitable for use in Mimaki textile printers

Textile print-service-providers will now be able to show the certification when pitching for work to prove its products meet the required safety standards.

“Our textile printing products have been received warmly by the marketplace, and we believe this certification will help us gain even more credibility among textile printers looking for a short-run digital solution,” says Mike Horsten, general manager, marketing EMEA.

He adds: “Many in the industry will remember the stir created by Mimaki-printed costumes on the Landa Dancers at Drupa 2012. Now they can feel comfortable creating their own unique designs for digitally printed apparel and other textile products without any concern for potential harm to end users.”

The inks will be on Mimaki's stand at FESPA 2013 taking place later this month.
